THE INTERFACE MODEL
Interface has developed a model for the company that they want to become. It is Interface’s model of the sustainable enterprise of the next industrial revolution -- The Prototypical Company of the 21st Century.
The model is based on Interface’s interconnections (linkages) with its constituencies—showing how some are good, while others are bad, and should eventually be eliminated. It also shows how new linkages should be added over time. This model has led to a series of schematics to help Interface’s associates understand how to approach the difficult climb up the mountain that we call "Sustainability." We hope that this model will prove helpful to you as well.
